Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Middle school is tough enough as it is! Being a new, sixth grade student with special needs can be even more tough! Aside from that, my school is a Title One school where many of the students come from low-income households. My students are artist, singers, song writers, actress, actors, and law enthusiast. Any given school day you can take a walk down the hallway and listen to the band playing a song the chores kids harmonizing and are law students debating a current Supreme Court decision. My students are a creative bunch of kids and I order to promote class participation and motivation my students I would like to incorporate in my class to group work stations.

My Project

It will provide a special place in my class so, students can interact in a group to create new multimedia projects. My students can use the table to charge their device, can use the whiteboard to plan out their projects and have the flexibility to set or stand. This special table will motivate my students to learn. They will want to learn together as a group and it will ultimately promote cooperative learning. Having a creative center in the class will help me grow and promote over all teaching and learning in the classroom. In a digital world we need to help inspire learning and this innovative table will help my students move into the future.
