My Students

My fifth-grade students are striving each day to break the mold of typical public school education. We bring unique personalities, learning styles and all come from very diverse backgrounds. We are energetic, enthusiastic and want to put the fun back into education.

My 28, fifth-grade students are a family, striving to take care of and protect our family members.

We are eager to learn and try new things. They are enthusiastic about technology, art and most of all coming to school each and every day to learn new things!

My Project

Flexible seating choices, such as wobble chairs and yoga balls, allow students the ability to fidget from their seats while not disrupting their learning, or the learning of others. These three chairs will meet the needs of 28 students, giving them choice in our classroom, better meeting their individual needs.

Flexible seating options allow students to get out the wiggles, while still engaging in their learning.

This ability to wiggle, allows some students the ability to remain focused and on task, potentially greatly improving their learning in the classroom. Having three chairs as options, allows more students the opportunity to utilize these wonderful tools.
