My students need these items so I can successfully implement flexible seating. The Flash Furniture rectangular tables will offer lowered seating options for the students while still having a surface to work on.
When you walk through the front doors of the school, you cannot help but smile. The halls are buzzing with students eager to learn. You may not know them all by name, but by their smile. Whether they belong to your class or not, they belong to you. We all belong here, we are family.
We are a Title 1 school, serving students in a poverty stricken area.
Most of our students are financially disadvantaged and on free or reduced lunch. This does not stop their desire to learn and see the outside world. They are our daily inspiration and the reason we do what we do. We welcome you to become part of our family!
My Project
Sitting for long periods of time in a standard desk can and will get boring, allowing for young minds to wander. The inflatable couch will provide them with fun, comfortable seating, and the tables will provide us with a resource unavailable at my school. They will allow us to ditch the desks for good, and sit wherever they can be the most successful.
Choices encourage responsibility.
Offering a choice in where they sit holds them accountable for the work they produce and the way they treat something that belongs to someone else. It is important to create successful, accountable adults.
