My Students

Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academics. There is also a multitude of teams and clubs that fit the needs of everyone. Our school also promotes community inspired learning and service learning. My students engage in a variety of service learning activities throughout the year as well as activities that incorporate groups and partners. My students enjoy learning and working together to learn by using their unique learning styles and diverse backgrounds.

My Project

Developmental skills are essential for young learners of all ages. In Kindergarten these skills include cooperation, early problem solving, and fine motor skills. Developmental skills can beneficial in helping develop children's mental and physical abilities for their future years in learning.

Dramatic Play helps encourage young learners to think creatively and begin to develop key skills that will allow them to be stronger problem solvers.

This dramatic play tool can allow my Kinder students to have flexibility in options for their creative play. It will also allow them a safe, organized space to develop their skills. My students will also be able to benefit from having a space that allows them opportunities to work in a small group to develop their language skills.
