Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a low socioeconomic area. Many students come to school without the basic supplies that they need to be successful. My goal is to help their parents by getting some of the supplies for them. Unfortunately, my school is only able to provide my students with a minimal amount of supplies due to budget restrictions. My hope is to have everything they will need so they can focus on their education and not stress about the supplies they need. I envision my students starting of the year with all of the supplies they need. Students who are prepared perform better in school.

My students will use the rulers and protractors during art, math, and science. They will be able to erase any mistakes in their writing with the erasers and correction tape. The scissors will allow them to cut out vocabulary cards. They will have markers to trace their art and to create posters. My students will have index cards to write their vocabulary words, in order to learn and study them for spelling tests.
