Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In a highly diverse, Title I school, we dedicate ourselves in meeting the unique needs of all our learners. We constantly strive towards success through educating, empowering and aspiring.
We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of each individual student by keeping their unique interests piqued and guiding them to their full potential.
. However, the changes that have occurred during this pandemic have proven challenging to keep up with in a digital environment.
My Project
During these unprecedented times, teachers and students have been increasingly required to make changes to their teaching and learning. Although I would consider myself very technology literate and have always utilized technology within my classroom, these times have called for substantial increases in technology use to foster learning and maintain engagement in school coursework. Teacherspayteachers offers a multitude of high-quality learning resources created especially for digital learning.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student's digital attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and technology literacy.
Students will be able to have access to quality digital learning resources. Utilizing the expertise of fellow teachers through teacherspayteachers, will allow me to focus more of my time and energy on assisting my students with their learning, rather than recreating the wheel to craft engaging digital resources already available.
