My students need a Cricut machine in class to help prepare for art projects and hands on activities.
This project expired on July 22, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are 5 and 6-year-old children. They are very active and are hands-on learners. Their little minds are like little sponges, and they soak up all the information that is presented to them.
My goal in my classroom is to make their learning developmentally appropriate.
With higher standards being pushed on my students it is easy to forget the developmental needs of such young children. They deserve this and it is my job to provide it for them. I hope you will consider helping my students.
The Cricut is a crafting machine that allows people to cut anything from intricate design to simple shapes. The possibilities are endless for learning activities with this machine. There is a new feature where students can take their drawings and turn them into a wide array of projects.
My students can display their creativity and have materials for learning activities and projects.
One project I plan to do with my students is use the Cricut to cut large letters that start with their name. They will then get to decorate it with their favorite things and make a class ABC book for everyone to read. This is just one of the many things we can do with this tool.
