I teach Pre-k to 18 wonderful children. Most of the families come from low income homes and don't get the opportunity to cook.

My children love to cook during each theme. For example the theme for January is Community Helpers. One person we will be talking about our bakers. It would be great to bake with the children. We have made cakes and cookies in the past. We have to run down the hall and use another persons microwave when we need to heat water, milk or butter.

If we had a microwave and bowls to cook with we would be able to cook more often. The children will be able to measure how much water and ingredients we need in each bowl. How great would it be to teach these children how to cook. In today's society most of my parents unfortunately do no have the time to cook.

You will make it possible for my children to learn how to cooks hands on. This will be a learning experience that they will never forget. With your help we can make this possible. Thank you for your time.
