My Students
Students in my kindergarten classroom come to school excited about learning. Many of my students come from low-income families, and all the students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch. This background can mean that students’ families cannot afford to purchase needed school supplies.
My students deserve to receive the best education possible so that they are able to succeed in school and in life.
These boys and girls have such awesome attitudes, and they try their best every day!
My Project
My kindergarten students learn best when they are sitting in a place that they consider comfortable. When given the opportunity, they almost always choose to sit in a place, other than their desk chair. Most of the time, this spot is on the floor. This can be uncomfortable, since the floor is hard. After a while, students have a hard time concentrating on the task at hand because they have grown uncomfortable.
I am requesting a comfy chair, so my students can have the opportunity to read their early level books or work on their class work, in a comfortable place.
My students will take turns using this awesome chair, which is similar to what they are used to sitting on at home. It is made of sturdy materials and easy clean vinyl, so it will last for many years. Many future kindergarten students will be able to use it.
