In a thriving school of over 700 students, I teach 25 energetic 2nd graders who range from high achieving to limited English (ELL) students. We are also privileged to serve military families and children of Barksdale Air Force Base Airmen. Each student helps diversify our population, bringing in knowledge and experience of various cultures and traditions.
No matter the academic or ability level, all of my students have different learning styles that I strive to meet every day.
In return, our students work hard to learn and grow in their academics each day, completing STEM activities, RTI rotations, and computer-based math lessons, leading our school to be a "B" school!
My Project
With the help of from DonorsChoose.org, my classroom is now equipped with a Chromebook for each student! No more sharing or time wasted on everyone getting a turn to complete daily lessons! It has been an exciting time in class for my students to experience.
Now we need proper storage and a way to charge all the Chromebooks daily to get our math lessons completed!
A Chromebook cart would allow for this exact need to be met without taking up valuable floor space. Organization of the chords will also be met to eliminate the crazy chaos of trying to keep them untangled
