Mr. Emmett from Cincinnati OH is requesting sports & exercise equipment through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need inflatable boxing gloves and body bouncers to give them an experience unlike any other PE class. This activity is something just for the older students to enjoy.

I teach elementary physical education in a multi-culturally diverse and socioeconomically disadvantaged urban neighborhood. I have kids from all walks of life, mostly African-American, Caucasian, and Hispanic.
When I first walked into my equipment closet, I noticed the school was in need of many items.
The school budget is tight and there isn't much left for equipment.
My students come from many types of homes (broken, single-parent, raised by relatives and foster children). When they come to my class, I want them to leave our school remembering all of the fun they had in physical education class and how much wonderful equipment they were given the chance to use and knowing that fitness and physical activity is fun. I want to give them experiences they won't get at any other school. I want them to have experiences no other students have had anywhere else.
I saw the inflatable boxing gloves and body bouncers at Cracker Barrel and immediately knew my students would love to get a crack at using this type of equipment in physical education. They are durable, painless and a lot of fun. I want to give my students an experience no other students in the city have ever had. I want this to be something special just for the older students to enjoy and for the younger students to look forward too. When I became a PE teacher, it was my goal to make sure no one ever forgot what kind of cool things they did in PE class.
