My Students

For the majority of my students, going to Kindergarten will be their first experience in a school setting and the first time that they will spend a majority of their day away from their parents. We are a Title I school with a large portion of our students qualifying for free or reduced lunches.

My students come to school with smiles on their faces ready to take on each new day together!

Each year my students come together to create a fun and supportive learning community!

My Project

With a classroom subscription to Let's Find Out! each of my students will receive a weekly magazine that covers a variety of science and social studies topics-all aligned with state standards! These magazines will provide students the opportunity to further explore concepts from the classroom while also strengthening their developing literacy skills.

These magazines will be a great way to support learning within the classroom as well as at home!

Each week students will be able to take their magazines home to share and read with their families. This will not only create a connection between school and home, but will provide an academic resource that may otherwise that be available.
