My Students
This will be my first year teaching third grade for the School District of Philadelphia. I have been teaching in the district for four years. Funding can be limited, and I would like to provide the best tools for instruction for my future students.
My classroom is very diverse this year, and not all of my students have the resources and supplies that they need. Every student deserves an equal opportunity, and I would love to give them a chance to feel like they have one!
My Project
This is my first year teaching third grade, at a new school in Philadelphia. My classroom library consists of books for children of the ages of K-2.
My classroom has so many great readers, I would love to provide them with a selection of books at their level. Every day after lunch we do independent reading, and I have some students that read so many books, I won't have enough books for them to read! Some of my students are reading at a fourth grade level, and I have absolutely no books for them to read. They love reading, and I want our library to be the best! My students need books on a third grade and up reading level!
