My Students

As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I am trying to provide my students with meaningful learning experiences.

My students are wonderful!

Our classroom is full of joy and excitement for learning every day. Our school is awesome but VERY limited with funding for our classroom needs. Many of my students are from very low income households, and I want them to love learning while having the supplies they need to be successful.

My Project

My kindergarten students LOVE science! I would love to provide them with lab coats and goggles to enhance their love of science and exploration. How awesome would it be for my students to put on a lab coat and goggles and transform into little scientists!

Their attire of lab coats and goggles would match their mindset of a real scientist!

In our classroom I strive to provide my students with science experiments as often as I can. They love being little scientists and problem solving many different ideas. These materials would help them become life long learners of science and become REAL scientists!
