My Students

My students are in a well diverse community that strives to create great achievers. With our population being so diverse we as educators are committed to making our curriculum within our programs diverse and able to help our students grow. Our students are from all socioeconomic backgrounds and have different abilities.

My students, through observation, deserve to experience new and motivating activities and equipment unique to their needs.

I teach three classes a day with an average of 30 students. I also have a teaching partner that teaches 5 classes a day with an average of 30 students.

Our school believes in student lead opportunities to enhance their learning. In PE we believe in promoting lifelong learning with making healthy decisions.

My Project

Students will be able to assess themselves and their effort in the classroom with Polar heart rate monitors or Heart Zones heart rate monitors. Also, the students will be able to compete with their classmates in target heart rate zones as we will project their scores up on the wall.

We have detected heart flutters by using these in schools.

So this way of monitoring our students has shown great efforts at providing a healthy experience to students within physical education.
