My students need a new color printer in our kindergarten classroom!
This project expired on July 31, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My kindergarten classroom is the only kindergarten in our small town, rural school district. Our district contains one building that houses grades pre-k through 12. It is a Title 1 school.
Teaching kindergarten is my passion.
My kindergarten averages about 20 students throughout the year with move-ins and move-outs. I serve both regular education and special education students.
I provide my students with a learning environment that fosters a solid education and encourages creativity at the same time. Kindergarten is the foundation to molding a successful, lifelong learner.
I am looking to provide an even more successful learning environment for my kindergarten students. In order to do this, I will be doing an overhaul of our math and literacy centers.
It is important to make learning activities differentiated for students of various abilities.
We could use this printer to create so many games and activities that will work for various learning levels. These activities that can be created with the new printer will encourage independent practice for my students during their center time. They will focus on skills in both math and language arts. They will also go along with the different seasons and holidays.
