My Students

I love teaching Kindergarten and watching my students learn and grow every day!

Every morning, my students come into our classroom ready to learn.

They cannot wait to see the topic for the day and explore new things! The students in my class come from a variety of different socioeconomic backgrounds and over 50% of the students in our school receive free lunch.

Our building consists of only full-day kindergarten classes and is a part of the Interboro School District.

Our mission is to "provide a challenging and supportive learning environment for all students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally while becoming college and career ready citizens within a global community."

My Project

My students found a love for drawing and writing. They are learning how to sound out words and write a sentence by themselves.

Crayons, markers, and colored pencils are needed to get the writing process started!

Before the students write a sentence, they need to think of an idea and draw a picture. The students like to use a variety of materials when drawing and writing. Some students choose to draw and color with crayons, but they might choose a marker or colored pencil to write with.

Any donation will help build my students' confidence while drawing and writing and help them to become better writers!
