Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My beautiful students are at the age where they are very curious about what life has in store for them. I am here to assist them in learning all about their curiosities. They work together, celebrate one another's accomplishments and they love to celebrate their friends. I love to connect their real world experiences with the classroom experiences that will allow them to become comfortable with themselves and their classmates.

My scholars will use materials from nature to create and explore their environment and build upon their everyday learning.

My Project

As we continue distance learning my scholars eyes light up every time we engage in a new hands on activity. Whether it is making their own mask or making their own fire truck the students are completely engaged when they are able to create with their hands.

By providing my students with these foams sets and puzzles my students will be able to build their own sight words, letters, numbers and so much more.

We know for many this has been a difficult time to keep students engaged while at home but through Donors Choose I have been given the opportunity to still give my scholars the materials they need to learn and grow.
