Help me give my students Post-It Chart Paper and Sharpie markers to create anchor charts and help them remember the most important parts of our lessons.
I work in a school where the majority of my students are growing up in poverty. Although most of the students are growing up in these conditions, they are still eager to learn and are excited about being at school. They love to do fun new activities in the classroom. They all enjoy doing projects that involve hands-on learning.
My students are always eager to get to school and see what they will be learning that day.
My goal is to make sure they have all the materials they need to learn and succeed.
My Project
These Post-It chart papers will allow our class to create anchor charts. Anchor charts are a great resource for students all throughout the school year. They can reference ideas we have already learned and build their knowledge off of those skills we have already learned.
This will improve my students comprehension and remind them of prior learning and allow them to make connections to new ideas.
Anchor charts help out students and teachers in so many ways. My students this year have benefited from anchor charts and I want to continue to help my students benefit from them.
The Post-It chart paper is a necessary resource in our classroom. We use it almost every week. Our class would like to continue making anchor charts to highlight the most important parts of our lessons. It improves student comprehension and scaffolds students' learning.
