Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My bilingual 2nd grade is formed by students and families from Mexico or Central America, with very limited economic resources. But they are absolutely engaged and motivated learners and they love to attend school to discover what is the new daily.
Our group loves to learn by playing, touching, and investigating by themselves the curriculum content.
It is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are becoming independent readers, writers, and math problem-solvers, while some of them are still learning to read, write, and count, or being familiar with math strategies.
My Project
During this distance learning period, teachers need to connect to their students and invite them to join the virtual lessons. I would need this device to make my live video lessons and let my students having his teacher support online.
Now the teacher needs to show up through the screen.
it is the only possible way to keep teaching our lessons during this difficult time of COVID-19. We need the students to keep in touch with their teachers to make them ready to succeed in the next school year when schools open their doors again. Help us to prepare them!
