My Students

Second grade is a fantastic transition from students who are learning to read to students who are reading to learn! We have students from all over the world. My classroom is filled with students who speak many languages, have different cultural backgrounds and come from many types of families!

My students are eager and excited to learn and move through reading, hands-on experiments, and research that they have done on their own!

My students are bursting with knowledge and excited to learn more!

My Project

Students love to research and share their learning through technology. The iPad Mini devices are small and easy for little fingers to navigate and use. Learning applications can be fun and engaging for students, which will help students remember what they are learning.

Students can use the iPads in small group learning, center activities, and independent research activities.

Students can also use the SeeSaw application to share their learning with parents and peers through pictures, videos, and recordings. Students will also be able to take pictures of the world around them to share with others or refer back to for future learning.

When students are engaged in their learning, they are excited to share what they have learned and created with everyone.
