Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students LOVE school. They look forward to coming to school daily. They are learning many different concepts in school, including how to read and write. They would benefit from having materials at home to engage in this.

Unfortunately, my Pre-K in NYC is still under quarantine rules when a positive case of covid arises and this happens often.

I would love to give my students the resources they need to have materials to learn at home with. This includes a Pre-K workbook, pencils, whiteboards, dry erase markers, glue sticks, and child scissors for each child. I need printer ink to print materials. We also need books, materials, and storage to create a lending library so kids can take books home every week. The books will be lent out but the other items, the children will be able to keep for future use and at home learning. Every child should have learning materials at home including books and writing materials. I, with your help, would love to provide that!
