Help me give my students games and activities to improve speech intelligibility and facilitate carry over of newly learned skills into conversational speech.

Achievement. Respect. Innovation. Service. Excellence. These are the core values that my school strives to instill in our students every day. I provide speech therapy services to 70 students, grades K-8.
These students have speech/language delays and communication disorders that hinder their ability to access the general education curriculum.
They have difficulty comprehending what is said and/or expressing their thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
My students are amazing, precious souls that work so very hard in speech therapy. They encourage each other, cheer for each other and strive to achieve their therapy goals. They love to learn and are so excited about each language unit, book study or articulation drill. They are such a blessing and they make me smile every day!
Every child wants to succeed in school! My students all have various communication disorders that hinder their ability to access the general education curriculum. Articulation and phonology disorders negatively impact speech intelligibility, reading fluency and teacher/peer interactions. Language disorders adversely affects reading comprehension and expression of thoughts, ideas, and basic needs.
The language cards, games and trinkets will be used to teach my students the communication skills they need to be successful in the general education classroom.
The trinkets will be used as a hands-method to teach sound production in words, phrases and sentences as well as to facilitate creative descriptive language. My younger students love to play with small objects so this will be a fun way to practice articulation drills! The story cubes will be used to teach sequence of events as well as provide a way for students with articulation errors to practice correct speech sounds in connected speech.
My students are awesome and they love to learn! They are pulled from their enrichment classes to attend speech therapy so it is very important that the activities in speech are fun and exciting . My students will love these materials!
