Help me give my students the ability to create posters to better involve our student body in school spirit! With these items donated, our usual fundraisers can go towards cheer competition and camp costs!
Thank you for taking the time to consider donating to my high school cheer squad. I have been coaching cheerleading for the past 7 years and it is truly a blessing to be able to mold these athletes, both athletically and academically. I feel like being involved in extracurricular activities has a great impact on these students and helps prepare them for their future outside of high school. My cheerleaders come from all different backgrounds. Teaching and coaching at a small 1A school in Texas can be challenging. Our school is considered a Title 1 School which means a huge portion of our students come from low-income households.
Our small Texas high school cheer squad has high hopes and huge goals for next year's cheer season!
We will be competing in the UIL Spirit State Competition in our schools history. Competing at this level comes with a lot of costs. As cheer is already an expense sport, competing makes raising funds even more crucial.
My Project
The materials I am asking for will better allow my cheerleaders to get the student body involved with school spirit. The storage shelves will help to better organize our cheerleading supplies in my classroom since it utilized as a classroom/cheer closet.
Nothing says cheerleading more than GLITTER!
The supplies I am asking for will be used to make posters that we will hang up all over our campus to get our students involved and interested in showing their school spirit! With these items being donated, this allows our normal summer fundraisers to go towards cheer camp and competition! Thank you again for this consideration!
