This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When I came along and reopened the library, the kids were thrilled! But, libraries are no longer only about books. To help them connect, I've been creating different activity spaces to use during their break times. They've been a great success, so I would love to add an engineering and building center!

By creating an engineering club, the students can strengthen social emotional skills whole also addressing engineering standards .Through the use of building materials like LEGOs, K'nex, and Marble Runs, the students will work collaboratively to meet a building challenge.

This activities will help them address academic standards while strengthening social emotional learning skills.
