My Students

I Teach 4K! These students are the youngest and most eager learners of our school! They enter my classroom with great anticipation each day, hoping to get a first-hand look of what our day has in store! They have an amazing zest for learning and for exploring new and innovative activities every day! This not only makes my heart smile, but also drives me to keep on keeping on this crazy path called teaching.

I use a thematic approach to teaching my students and I create learning centers based on early childhood readiness skills.

My students learn primarily through play and hands-on activities. Our room is never quiet because I encourage the kids to use their language during their work and play.

My Project

My four-year-old kindergarten students absolutely LOVE to build things! I am always trying to think of new and innovating ways to get small groups together to foster language development and reinforce color and shape recognition in my classroom.

The block center is the favorite place for my littles as they learn to work cooperatively in small groups and creatively build together with different building materials!

By providing new building materials to my students, my students will be motivated to not only build together, but think, plan, create and express themselves as they explore new hands-on learning materials at our small block table in my classroom!
