Help me give my students manipulatives that will help build fine motor skills. These centers will help my kindergarten students strengthen their fine motor skills as they play.
My students come from a very low-income area. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. Coming from a low-income family does not stop my students from trying to learn and do their best to succeed. They are always willing to try something new.
My students are great examples of what it is to show courage.
Being in kindergarten, most are new coming into school. They are learning so many new things. I have several students that are English Language Learners. Even though they do not always understand, they will try their best. This year is kindergarten's first year for dual language. I am starting out with pretty much nothing. This project will give me tools to push my students as they are learning two languages.
My Project
These fun and entertaining active centers will help build fine motor skills. Kindergarten students need to build fine motor skills to get them ready for things like writing. Students will use these centers to strengthen the muscles in their hands. It is important for students to be able to have good fine motor skills. Fine motor skills will help them throughout their life. These skills are used to help them in their daily lives like tying their shoes, zipping up zippers, or just holding a pen. Help give my students a way to build their fine motor skills.
