Let's Build Character and Fine Motor Skills!
Help me give my students books that will increase their social and emotional learning and the tools they need to develop their fine motor skills through sensory play.
My students enter our classroom with smiles on their faces, and they are ready and eager to learn! I am encouraging them to be independent and creative while exploring learning in a variety of fun ways!
They are a great group of students who are active learners and need to explore while learning.
My goal each day is for my students to learn and stay engaged in our activities.
Adding more developmentally appropriate materials and activities in our classroom would benefit every beginning learner!
These books will help me to teach my students important character traits such as being kind, responsible, honest, cooperative, and brave. Providing my students with a variety of sensory materials gives me the chance to help them develop their fine motor muscles.
Students love listening to books and using their hands to play and learn!
The best way to teach character traits is through the stories that the students can relate to. When the students can enjoy these books, it makes it easier for them to understand how to apply these character traits to their life. Giving the children play-dough and other sensory materials to manipulate encourages them to build those very important fine motor muscles. So many of my children have to work hard on developing these skills so that they can hold writing tools and write their names, letters, and numbers.
