Help me give my students technology accessories and books to make build our classroom learning library as well as a compact teacher work station with supplies to facilitate social distancing between student desks and within small groups.

My Students
All students are awesome! However, special needs students are extraordinary to work with because they strive to thrive despite their disabilities. Often times, they are not aware that they have challenges; they happily play and learn to the best of their abilities. Special needs students are loving, funny and enjoy emulating their friends. Special education students are very much like their typical-learning peers and, in many cases, can do everything their General education students can do.
Special education students are just as capable as General education students!
One of the differences between special needs learners and typical learners is that special education students need more time and supports to have academically and socially meaningful classroom/school experiences. With patience and resources, Special education students can excel to the best of their ability!
My Project
Many of my students succeed when distractions are minimized. As technology is a vital piece in the classroom, it's important that students complete their Chromebook work and activities at volumes that are set to their individual comfort levels. Each student will have his or her own headset throughout the year. A small, mobile workstation will allow me to move around the classroom and eliminate the need for a conventional desk (which takes up a lot of space). As students will be encouraged to spend a considerable amount of time reading in the classroom, the books provide a variety of topics from which to choose.
