When you walk 25-30 feet above ground, it is a miracle, because you are still in the city … but you are flying above the city. You are in the middle of trees, and that is a moment of beauty. – Renzo Piano
With these 4D puzzles my students will be capable of creating an amazing cityscape.
We have 85 third graders at our school.
There is a wide gap between our academic learners at this school.
All kids are wonderful and are excited to learn more. Not all of the kids have the same ease with learning academic content. Using 4D puzzles the students will be able to create architectural master pieces while still learning about city components.
My Project
The 4D Cityscape puzzles will be used two times during the year. The kids will use these puzzles to learn about city components and how cities change over time. The kids will also use the puzzles during our architecture unit. Design and the building structure will be focused on during this unit.
It is my goal as a teacher to impact each student every day.
The easiest way to do that is by having special experiences that make them want to learn more. Any time I do something that excites learners; I know that I have succeeded in encouraging them to go further. These 4D puzzles are going to create an environment of young architects and engineers understanding the design of a city.
