Mrs. Wilder from San Antonio TX is requesting Lab Equipment through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need five Breakout Edu boxes to enhance their learning experience.
This year is an exciting one for us here at our elementary school because we are beginning our second year as a new innovative elementary school.
We strongly believe in allowing kids to explore and be highly engaged during their learning experience.
Having a mixed population at our campus, we have students from upper-income, lower-income, foster families, military families, English and Spanish speaking families, too. We lack funding to provide necessary equipment in order to be more innovative in our classrooms. As we begin our second year, we would love to provide students of all abilities, the opportunity to participate in engaging activities that incorporate technology while learning and create a positive environment for all.
I am requesting 5 BreakOut EDU boxes to help facilitate learning on my 5th grade team. By doing this I hope to spread the word about how amazing BreakOut is and provide all of our teachers on my team with the ability and resources to utilize these boxes with their students. Many of our students have conditions such as ADD, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. We currently have two collaborative classrooms with a high number of special education students. These students require frequent brain breaks or movement opportunities to stay focused while learning. We strongly believe in allowing kids to explore and be highly engaged during their learning experience.
Using BreakOut EDU on the team, introduces students to a whole new level of engaged learning while providing the frequent movement opportunities they need.
The priority of the BreakOut EDU kits is to create a full scale escape room where students will find sets of clues to explore and work through. These clues will require them to solve problems tied to our curriculum standards. Students will work together and move around the room to experience a new way of learning and BreakOut EDU is the new and engaging way of learning.
