My Students
We have 425 enthusiastic kiddos in grades K-5 who love learning and discovering new things. They all attend a Title I school in a high-needs area. These students are curious, and I want to broaden their horizons through the use of quality fiction and non-fiction materials.
We need your help to make these goals a reality.
These students love school, and I want to help them thrive academically and personally through all of the extension and intervention that science, technology, engineering, and creativity can provide. These students do not always have the opportunity to travel outside of their current state and sometimes not even outside their current neighborhood.
My Project
As the school librarian, I would love your help in filling our library with brand new books to start the new year off right! All of these books are kid friendly, age appropriate, and engaging for our K-5 audience. Some of these books will also be used for various projects in the library such as read alouds, crafts, and book studies.
My goal is to engage students in reading and promote a love for great books. Too often, elementary students see reading as a difficult task that is often daunting. I want to make that mindset a thing of the past! With your donation, you can help me make this dream a reality!
