I have the honor and esteemed pleasure of teaching some of the most dedicated and devoted students who have a love for innovation and learning. In the journey of creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, my students have discovered there are so may ways to publish diverse texts. We are in need of a book shelf which displays the diverse books in our classroom.
A book shelf which celebrates women, multiple heritages, famous scientists, mathematicians, authors, and thinkers in a global perspective would be greatly appreciated!
I work in a school in which 90% of our students qualify to receive free or reduced price lunch. In the face of this adversity students continue to thrive, create, and be innovative in their learning. I love my students innate curiosity and the willingness to pick up books and create informational stories. I love how they are fearless in dreaming big.
Thanks to donors like you our class has received a diverse amount of books in many different genres. Only problem? Somewhere to place them all. A bookshelf would be a wonderful addition to our classroom to display books. Please help us in adding this to our classroom. My students will also have a lovely place to display the books they have drafted and published as well.
Having a bookshelf may not seem like a big deal, but having a place to organize our self published books and organize books by genre would be a wonderful addition for us.
