My students live in a neighborhood in Arkansas that has a combination of low income and middle-income families. The families our school serves places a high value on education and are eager to have their children come to our school. Students are excited to come to school each day to learn. In my classroom, I balance planning developmentally appropriate, rigorous learning through hands-on experiences, and play. We are getting ready for success in school, work, and life. Together we laugh, play and learn.
My kindergarten students have problems staying organized. Seat sacks are a perfect solution to help them stay organized. They fit perfectly on their chair. Each student has their own seat sack. All of their daily supplies fit into the back pocket. It's a perfect way to keep their tables nice and clean so they can concentrate on their work.
Seat Sack organizers allow students to take ownership of their supplies.
This project will incorporate economics. We will talk about wants and needs. We will discuss the value of our supplies that are provided for us and about our responsibility of taking care of our supplies so they will last throughout our school year.
