Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are silly, happy and loving souls. We identify ourselves as a school family! Due to covid-19 our class size has been kept small, so they have developed a strong connection with one another. They are excited to log in to zoom and see each other. They share their houses and their toys via Zoom. We have impromptu virtual play dates!
My Project
The paint sticks will help me provide more painting activities because right now I have had to purchase small disposable containers each time I plan an activity that requires paints. Since we have been distance learning for over four months, we are running out of our art and craft supplies. Likewise, I am asking for other materials that will help me continue to plan fun, interactive, hands-on activities for my students to do during our Zoom sessions. So far, I have been providing my students with all of the materials but we are exhausting our supplies. We need play dough, markers, paints, collage materials, scissors and glue sticks.
My little learners are more engaged and attentive during our Zoom sessions when doing hands-on activities!
By founding my project, it will help me continue to provide suitable activities that are educational and enjoyable for my little learners. Similarly, it will cheer my preschoolers tremendously when they receive yummy smelling markers and playdough!
