Let's Be Creative in Pre-K

Help me give my students Art & Craft supplies for awesome art activities as well as a CD player to provide them access to favorite stories and songs.

My Students

My students come from many diverse backgrounds and have a varied socioeconomic status. Most of my students are entering school for the first time and all of them have IEPs. My students are very sensitive to a new environment and new people.

In our classroom, my students receive services from an occupational therapist, speech/language therapists, and a physical therapist to help them with their needs so they can be successful throughout life.

As educators, we are here to support their needs and help them to reach their highest potential. We want our students to be prepared and successful in their future school years!

My Project

My students love making art. We are always looking for different ways to express each child's creativity through hands-on activities and art projects. With the Do-A-Dot markers, ink pads, and stamps, students will create a self-portrait, buildings, transportations, and more related to units pictures to share with their families and school peers. We will also use these art materials to draw reflections to our daily read-aloud books, make STEAM design challenges and express joy through learning and art. My students love to be creative and they are so proud of what they make.

Help me provide my students experience the joy and a sense of achievement while exploring their creativity through art activities.

Also, I want my students to be able to further indulge in their love of music. A CD player and a Bluetooth speaker will provide them access to familiar stories, poems, and songs on CDs. These stories, poems, and songs will also help develop their retell and comprehension abilities by using their listening skills.
