My second grade students attend a public school in New Hampshire. They come to school each day ready for new challenges!
These seven and eight year old students are excited about learning and eager to do their best!
My class includes children of all abilities and backgrounds. Over the past few years, students and their families are coming from more and more countries including India, China, Russia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. My students are kind, caring, energetic and creative. My class enjoys learning in an active and hands-on way.
My Project
Our classroom has a new tile floor which is lovely to look at but a little hard for sitting! A soft rug will give my students another spot for sitting and working. Stools are a great flexible seating option and my kids will be happy to have another stool in the classroom. Foam dice and alphabet stamps will be a quiet way to complete math and literacy activities. New books and stickers are always a great hit in the classroom!
My wonderful second graders will be excited to have these new materials to use.
