Energetic, fun, sweet, caring are just some of the words that you could use to describe my 7th grade English students. They come into class every day ready to tell a story about what has happened or ask a question about what is going on in the world.
They are inquisitive 12- and 13-year olds who want to learn more and have fun every day.
We use our class time to read and discover new worlds that we can only visit through books.
My Project
These materials will help us to annotate our novels. We cannot write in our novels since we share them with other classes and use them year after year, having notepads and red pens available for all my students will help make this an easier process.
Annotating our novels helps us to get ready for our state testing at the end of the year.
The clipboards, writing pads, and gel pens will help us to learn to take notes as we read and give us plenty of supplies to practice with. The magnetic dry erase sticky notes will help me to demonstrate for the whole class what to do and be something we can leave up and move around for reference.
