My students are awesome. They deserve all the resources to help them achieve success. My students attend a Title I school that is considered high poverty. We have almost 50% of our students receiving free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch each day. We even have a weekend food program.
My students are working extremely hard to be successful with the Common Core curriculum, and I want to get them all the resources to achieve this.
I appreciate how hard they work for me each day, and I know they'd appreciate any support you could give them.
To be financially literate we need extra ink cartridges for our laser printer and additional cartridges for our color printer as well. I will be using the new printer and all the ink cartridges to print PBL (Project Based Learning) activities for my students. These PBLs will increase their financial literacy because they will have students calculate how much it'll cost to plan a party, build a fast food restaurant, build a tiny house, and so much more. I want to print these projects and get them laminated so they can be used for many years to come. The ink will make my life easier by allowing me to print in the classroom. I can honestly say that this additional ink and the color ink for my other printer will come in handy in advancing their financial literacy.
