My Students

Being from a small bayou community, my students are not like most. They face different challenges than most. My students always strive to do their best work, even if it means they stay in during recess to finish an assignment.

They are learners who love to be comfortable.

With our focus on testing, sometimes it is difficult as a teacher to incorporate and engaging environment that students want to be in. I want my students to have the opportunity to move around the classroom and become comfortable when they are learning.

My Project

Each of these wobble cushions will allow my students to move around when working. Whether they are at the back table in a small group or on the carpet with their chromebook my students will love these.

I strive for my students to do their best work, but sometimes just sitting in the chair is not for them.

They need to be given the opportunity to get out of the chair. Getting out of the chair and from behind the desk, students are typically more engaged. With these cushions it will add to the comfort.

The students will be able to have go on rotations with each other and use the cushions as needed. They will be able to use them when working in small groups and even on their chromebooks.
