Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students seek new and exciting resources to help feed their young minds. The fifth grade can have many challenges, and with your help, we can make sure they have the materials for success and growth.
My students come from a school where 100% of the population comes from low income and disadvantaged households.
The school, along with our entire school district, qualifies as Title I. Our school is located directly off a major highway in California. With the support of people from across the globe, we can help promote language literacy skills through new technologies. These students will become our future leaders of tomorrow, and I will always attempt to get them any new opportunity to learn that I can.
My Project
We are requesting a classroom portable speaker and microphone that will help me encourage my students' learning experience to an extraordinary one! I have a desire to transform my classroom to an amazing, magical classroom experience both inside and out for my students!
Creating an unforgettable school year by setting a stage in my classroom for my kiddos and giving them a microphone and speaker where they can read poetry and read stories out loud, as well a make PE an upbeat and enjoyable plateform is the experience that I want to create for them!
For example, we can perform Reader's Theater with our characters using the microphone. This outdoor speaker will allow us to listen to music outside during work time and PE as well! I want my students' learning to be magnified and engaging and this will be a wonderful opportunity for them to experience learning this way. Thanks for your support!
