My students need an easel in the classroom for making charts and graphs. A mobile easel is essential for easy visual and interactive student engagement for both whole and small group lessons.

Our students attend a school with energetic teachers who love to give a rigorous education. The school is located in an urban environment in Wilmington, Delaware. The students need certain learning materials to continue to be incredible. With access to various resources, the sky is the limit for them!
Their energetic attitude and curiosity to learn new things is astounding.
For this reason, I want give the scholars as many learning resources they deserve. I believe that all scholars should have equal learning opportunities. They come to school with a desire to create and discover whatever it is we are teaching.
Our scholars get so excited to see new and inviting additions from a new pencil to a technology device.
Our classroom is a safe, caring and nurturing learning environment that supports each scholars social, emotional and academic need. The scholars come to school each day excited to learn and try new hands-on activities.
The easel will help students be able to engage in making and answering various types of graphs and maps in many different subject areas. Because of the easel’s mobility, it can be moved to various locations in the classroom as needed. This would be ideal for transitioning from an entire class instruction lesson to a guided reading lesson. The students are able to write responses and then also use it as a visual aid to refer back to if needed. One major reason for this, is because of the easel’s height appropriateness. Many times I’ve used chart paper without an easel, and the students were not able to effectively interact or respond by writing on the paper. This is because they simply couldn't reach the chart paper. It also allows more stability because it is less likely for the paper to rip.
