International Thespian Troupe 721 is an incredible group of high school theatre kids who work hard to put on two full-length stage productions a year - a fall drama/comedy and a spring musical. Students work in every aspect of production, onstage and off.
Our district is a high needs, low resource one.
Our kids typically do not have the personal resources to take lessons, so whatever arts education they receive is solely through our schools. Our budget is tight and we give them as much as we can on a shoestring. Their natural abilities are incredibly high and they deserve to shine bright!!
My Project
Thespian Troupe 721 trains students in all aspects of theatre. From onstage performance to set design and construction, costume building to pit orchestra - students are the main focus of our work.
Our sound design is run by students.
We want to give them the best equipment possible, so they can focus on the task of silently amplifying performers, instead of dealing with cracking, popping and feedback due to old, outdated microphones. We want them to feel like rockstars.
This spring, Troupe 721 will be mounting "Footloose". We are on a quest to provide new equipment for our kids. Please help us attain that goal.
