My Students
Our class affirmation is "The future of the world is in our classroom,” which defines my amazing, curious and creative ESL students. Each day my students arrive at school with a "Never Give Up" attitude which makes each day a new adventure.
Their passion for learning has created an environment where different learning styles are not only accepted but appreciated.
Since I have a curious bunch, I have developed lessons that immerse them into different cultures and ways of life. These elements have allowed me to scaffold their knowledge, which in turn has been a pillar to helping them learn the English language.
My Project
As we transitioned back into in-person learning. Our class has lacked the resources needed to learn in the digital world. As a safety precaution students utilize their Chromebooks to complete assignments. The district also requires students who are quarantined to log into the classroom via Google Meets.
As result, our class needs a projector to display assignments and tasks.
Since our class doesn't have windows, so when the lights are off it's really dark in our classroom. To adjust to our current situation I am requesting a projector to assist within-person and virtual learning, desk lamps, LED lights to place around the class to ensure students visibly, and extension cords with USB to keep laptops charged.
