My Project

All of my students have a specific learning disability...but you wouldn't know it with how hard they work and how they are accessing grade level curriculum! They are amazing kiddos! Our classroom lights continue to cause headaches in our classroom, because they are such bright, fluorescent lights. I have hung up fun fairy lights and have to small table lamps, but they aren't enough to combat these dull, dreary winter days and dark skies.

We need lights to give us a headache-free learning environment, and some snacks to support my students' bellies feeling full while we work under these awesome lights!

Please help me and my students have headache-free lights, where we can focus on our learning and not on our heads hurting from the lights in the ceiling. The snacks, which are Popcorners, are my students' favorite snacks, and they eat them daily, thanks to previous, generous DonorsChoose donations. My students don't all have access to food at home and almost all of them can't afford to bring their own snacks to school. I provide a snack daily to support their focus until lunch time. Thank you in advance for your help!
