Help me give my students quick and simple ways to practice letters and numbers- these skills are the base to everything they will be learning for the rest of the year!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are an extremely diverse bunch. We are focusing hard on writing our letters and our numbers. Many of my students are having trouble forming their letters and their numbers when they are writing them. We are hoping to get class sets of dry erase pockets, markers, and magnetic letters so we are able to practice some really important skills we need to keep moving forward with our learning! These resources would help with morning meeting, and center time!
My Project
These materials will help my students be able to practice their letters and numbers in various ways. Some students simply need more exposure to letters, while some need help with the formation of their letters. My student enjoy using “the big people markers” and getting to write on the dry erase pockets- to them it’s a fun game, and they don’t even realize they’re learning while they’re doing it. The magnetic numbers and letters are going to help up with review games, and morning meeting! Eventually both the magnetic numbers & letters will also be utilized in center time! Thank you for your consideration!
