This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that I am requesting, such as raised beds, planters, soil, a variety of seeds, and storage box are the basic elements needed to start a garden.

Planting seeds, watching them grow with care daily, and sharing the excitement of seeing them bloom is a unique experience that gardening can offer to young children.

This project will help my children will learn about the life cycle of plants and what elements help them to grow from a seed to a flower or a fruit. They will learn where fruits and vegetables come from when they plant their own and how to care for them.

The children in my class are eager to learn, and they have developed a sense of caring for living organisms.
