My 3rd grade classroom is full of enthusiastic scholars who are discovering the joy of reading. They are eager to learn about science, math and what makes things happen around them.
We have build a community of learners, inquisitive, compassionate, and creative that celebrates our differences and what we have in common.
Our shared experiences unites us and makes learning interesting and a fun challenge every day. I want to make sure that my students are not limited by their economic background or their family challenges, but that they see their future and their education as the key to their success.
We are writing a collection of our best family stories, poems, cooking recipes, graphic novels, and for sure a story with dinosaurs, unicorns, and a volcano.
My scholars are a rainbow of personalities, backgrounds and abilities, and what they all have in common is their love to write and illustrate their own stories.
For our Project Based Learning of the spring, they decided to write an anthology for our school library. For that, we are going to need lots of colorful markers in all shapes and sizes, card stock and paper to make invitations for the presentation event of the book.
