Help me give my students these book series to promote a love of reading. From the new Babysitters set to the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew the reading adventures my students will take are endless.
My classroom is filled with excited, eager 5th graders! They are open-minded, risk-takers in a school that allows them to be inquirers. I have struggling students, high achievers and English language learners. We are a Title I school, with 60% free or reduced-price lunch looking for some loving people to fund this project.
My students need book series to help foster their reading lives.
My students are hard-workers and I want to do everything I can to provide them with books to meet their needs. Research shows that getting a child hooked on a reading series can take them to anew level in their reading life.

My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy, these new books will only ad to the appeal. Each books series has been chosen with my students in mind.
With these new book series, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will continue to foster their reading lives.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. Student that fall in love with a series show to have better reading lives and these books will help that.
