My Students

I work at a middle school in Galloway, NJ, which has about 600 7th- and 8th-grade students. Our school demographics are very diverse, ranging from middle class to poverty, and white, African American, Hispanic, and Asian American students. Many of them receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My goal is to prepare my students for high school, college, and life and give them a positive, safe, and meaningful learning experience.

Additionally, exposing them to cutting edge technology and concepts will prepare them for 21st-century jobs.

My Project

The Qball wireless microphone allows students to have more of an active role in the classroom. It gives them the opportunity to speak and to be heard.

Using the Qball wireless microphone will allow all students in my class to be heard!

Student voice will help send a clear message that every voice is worth hearing and that it will include every student into the conversation.

The wireless microphone is small and soft enough to gently throw to students around the room and allow them a chance to participate in the conversation. This will help improve their public speaking skills, and they will have the attention of all of their classmates.
